Understand points, achievements, and levels

If your organization uses points and achievements, they give you another way to see recorded activity. They are optional and depend on the organization's settings.

Review your progress

  1. Open Achievements.
  2. Read the summary, then find the achievement or progress information you want.
  3. Open Leaderboard to compare recorded points for a time period.
  4. Choose This Week, This Month, or All Time.
  5. Find your row, marked You, and review the points shown.

XP means experience points. A level is based on the points recorded for your activity; it is not an organization role or a permission to access more data.

If Gamification is Disabled appears, ask an admin whether the team intends to use it. There is no need to repeat actions just to try to make points appear.

Configure points as an admin

Open Organization Settings, then General and Gamification Settings. Review Enable Gamification, the point values, comment limits, and level thresholds. Make the intended changes and choose Save Gamification Settings.

Use the current values shown for your organization. Another team may use different values or no points at all. Explain the system to teammates so they understand what is being measured.
