Accessibility from the beginning
Our team uses assistive technology every day. That lived experience shapes how we plan, build, and test—not just how we review the finished product.
About Techopolis
Techopolis is an accessibility-led technology company creating thoughtful apps, practical services, and approachable ways to learn.
Our story
Techopolis Online Solutions, LLC began in 2021 with a focus on creating native apps for Apple platforms. Michael Doise formed the company after years of building and exploring what great apps could make possible.
Taylor Arndt joined Techopolis full-time in 2024 after helping shape the company’s website, services, and early projects. Together, the team expanded the work to include accessibility consulting, app development, AI guidance, training, and community-focused technology.
Today, we make our own products and help other people bring ideas to life. The work may take different forms, but the goal stays the same: make technology more useful, more understandable, and more inclusive.
What guides us
Accessibility is central to our work, alongside privacy, usefulness, and a genuine connection to the people we serve.
Our team uses assistive technology every day. That lived experience shapes how we plan, build, and test—not just how we review the finished product.
We collect less, explain our choices clearly, and look for ways to keep people in control of their information.
A good idea should solve a real problem. We focus on practical tools, understandable experiences, and work that makes everyday tasks easier.
We listen to the people who use technology, share what we learn, and help individuals and organizations build confidence along the way.
What’s in the name?
Techopolis combines two words: technology and metropolis. Michael first used the name for his Wi-Fi network in 2017, inspired by his love of technology and cities. Four years later, it became the natural name for the company.
