Organization settings affect other people, so check the selected organization before making a change. The controls available there depend on the feature and your access.
This walkthrough is for organization admins.
Update the organization name
- Open the organization menu and choose Organization Settings.
- Choose General.
- In Organization Details, update Organization Name.
- Select Save Changes and check the confirmation.
Review optional settings
In General, find Features and read each setting before changing it. For example, Show GitHub pull requests in Approvals controls whether that work appears in the approvals area.
Notify admins when a member contacts Start Testing support is a separate setting. When enabled for a selected organization, the support form explains that admins receive the person's name, topic, and subject line, but not the message itself. Do not assume every organization has enabled this notice.
Some feature switches save immediately. Read the confirmation and follow the save control shown for the section you are editing; switching tabs is not a substitute for saving.
Check recorded activity
- Open Activity Log in Organization Settings.
- Review the entries and their dates.
- Use Filters to narrow by Type or User.
- Choose Clear all if the filter hides the activity you need.
- Use the page controls to move through older entries.
The activity log helps you investigate recorded changes. It is not a reason to promise that every action in every connected service appears there.
