Perspective Transcribe works on both screens of iPhone Duo. You can start on the cover screen and unfold to read, or the other way around, without losing your place.
Folded and unfolded
- Folded, on the cover screen, the app works like it does on any iPhone: Sessions first, then the recording or session you open.
- Unfolded, on the inner screen, the app works like it does on iPad: Sessions on one side and the open session or recording on the other, so you can move between recordings while reading.
Fold or unfold at any time
Whatever is open stays open when you fold or unfold. If you are recording, the recording screen stays on screen and recording continues. If you are reading a session, it stays open on the new screen.
With VoiceOver, the screen changes when you fold or unfold, so focus moves to the new layout. Check the recording status or the session title to find your place.
The Transcribe keyboard on iPhone Duo
The Transcribe keyboard works on both screens. Set it up once in Settings, General, Keyboard, Keyboards, and it is available folded and unfolded. See Dictate in any app with the Transcribe keyboard for the full steps.

If something looks wrong
If a screen does not look right after folding or unfolding, go back to Sessions and open the recording again. Your recordings are saved; changing screens does not delete or stop anything. If it keeps happening, contact us with your app version and what was on screen when you folded or unfolded.
