Techopolis previews upcoming on-device AI accessibility features across Perspective Intelligence and Perspective Transcribe
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Updates arrive on Global Accessibility Awareness Day as the Austin studio expands its suite of private, on-device AI apps for Apple platforms
AUSTIN, Texas, May 21, 2026 - Techopolis LLC today previews a set of upcoming features and apps that will bring faster, more private ways to interact with on-device AI across its Perspective suite. The preview arrives on Global Accessibility Awareness Day as the company demonstrates how AI built with accessibility in mind serves everyone better.
Coming soon to Perspective Intelligence is a specialized accessibility knowledge pack that will enable the on-device AI to understand and discuss accessibility topics, best practices, and terminology. Users will be able to ask the AI about WCAG, or Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, accessibility standards, and how to make apps, websites, and content more accessible. The accessibility knowledge pack is the first in a planned series of knowledge packs, and it is designed to grow in depth and design as AI models and on-device innovation improve over time.
Michael Doise, founder of Techopolis, relies on Perspective Intelligence for everyday tasks that showcase how on-device AI solves real accessibility challenges. He said, "Perspective Intelligence is an amazing app that uses on device AI to get things done. I've used the app at the airport to quickly read signs or describe what is near me. I also use Saved Prompts to quickly perform web searches on topics that I search for frequently. Perspective Intelligence with All Access is the most powerful tool on my iPhone."
Perspective Transcribe is receiving an update that integrates with the iPhone action button, allowing users to start and stop transcriptions without opening the app. This speeds up the capture of ideas and thoughts before they slip away, removing friction from the transcription process. Taylor Arndt, COO of Techopolis, said, "I use Perspective Transcribe every day. This action button update is one of the most requested features because it removes the friction between thinking and capturing. I'm excited it's finally here."
Techopolis is also introducing Perspective Describe, a new app powered by on-device AI that enters beta testing. Perspective Describe allows users to share their screen on Mac and have the AI describe videos, streams, and dynamic content in real time. Arndt said, "I wanted to check the weather and looked at the radar. Perspective Describe read it to me instantly. For the first time, I can access anything on my screen that was never accessible to me before. On-device AI is changing what's possible."
Looking further ahead, Techopolis is outlining Start Speaking, an upcoming app in development designed to break down barriers to information. Start Speaking will support multiple document formats including EPUBs, Word documents, PDFs, plain text, and HTML, with OCR capabilities for inaccessible documents. Arndt said, "I've used Start Speaking internally to read inaccessible documents that I couldn't access anywhere else." The app is expected to arrive in the coming months.
